The University of Toronto (U of T) in collaboration with Tata Trusts, one of India’s largest philanthropic organizations launched The University of Toronto Centre in Mumbai, India.
The announcement was made by University president Meric Gertler and vice-president, International Joseph Wong during a roundtable on urban transitions in Mumbai.
According to a statement by the University, the new before will focus on urban research and entrepreneurship, bringing together leading scholars and entrepreneurs from Canada and India to develop groundbreaking research and innovation to benefit people in India and around the world.
