Pro-Khalistan secessionist group Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) has announced plans to hold the Khalistan Referendum on September 18th this year in Canada’s capital-Totonto a city known for hosting one of the largest and most diverse Sikh diaspora communities.

Activists of the United Hindu Front held a symbolic demonstration at the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi to stop the proposed referendum for creation of Khalistan (a separate state in India) by Pro-Khalistan secessionist group Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) in Toronto, capital of Canada on September 18, 2022.

President of the United Hindu Front and Rashtrawadi Shiv Sena, Jai Bhagwan Goel said, that so called Khalistan supporters sitting in Canada at the behest of Pakistan have been campaigning against India under the banner of SFJ for long time by instigating about half a million Sikhs living there.  

“Dreams of separating Punjab from India are being shown which will never be fulfilled”, he said adding that Sikhism is and will remain an integral part of Hinduism, Sikhs are a happy community in India not only holding the highest positions but also running big industries successfully.
