UKIBC welcomes Mahindra Group as its member

According to Mahindra Group the association is an opportunity to build strong relationships with influential UK industry leaders.

Mahindra Group, an Indian multinational group of companies, has become a member of the UK-India Business Council (UKIBC) to strengthen trade, investment, and collaboration between the two countries, the council announced.

The association will bring the firm's technology arm Tech Mahindra, motorcycles and green mobility company BSA, design centre Mahindra Advanced Design Europe (M.A.D.E) and Formula E division Mahindra Racing in touch with the council.

Jitender Jain, a senior VP and sales chief at Tech Mahindra, confirmed the membership with UKIBC and said that the company has been passionate about strengthening UK-India trade relations.

Kevin McCole, managing director at UKIBC, added, “We are delighted that Mahindra Group has joined the UKIBC as a member. The Group has had a long, distinguished history in the UK-India corridor and we are looking forward to working with partners across the Group to create further opportunities for UK-India collaboration and support business success."

The company aims to strengthen innovation ecosystems focusing on artificial intelligence and blockchain. With the association, Jain said the company will "ensure that India’s historically close relationship with the UK remains mutually beneficial long into the future as these technologies become more embedded in the everyday world of business."
