U.S.-India review Clean Energy partnership

The launch of a new Energy Storage Task Force to support large-scale integration of renewable energy needed to support the clean energy transition was announced at the bilateral meeting.

The US Department of Energy (DOE) and India’s Ministry of Power (MoP) recently held a ministerial dialogue to review their progress on the US-India Strategic Clean Energy Partnership (USISCEP).

During the meeting, the two sides discussed various issues including strengthening the power grid to ensure reliable, affordable, and resilient clean energy, reducing emissions, decarbonizing the industrial sector and deepening cooperation between Indian and U.S. Department of Energy labs and agencies.
