The oldest Sikh American civil rights and educational organization, Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund (SALDEF) was honored with the Multicultural Coalition Partnership Award by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
The award recognized SALDEF efforts on raising awareness of the Sikh community and their religious beliefs. The organization in partnership with TSA recently developed online training on “Effective Engagement and Screening of Sikh Travelers and their Religious Items”.
