Social media giant Twitter Inc, on Friday, started laying off its employees all over the world including India, where entire teams spanning engineering, marketing and communications have said to be laid off.
The move that comes within a week of billionaire Elon Musk’s takeover of the company is an attempt to “place Twitter on a healthy path”, an email informing the employees about the layoffs said adding that all laid off employees would receive intimation on their personal emails before 9AM PST on Friday.
