Trailer for Vijay’s ‘Beast’ crosses 30 million views

The trailer for ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s “Beast” has reached over 30 million views in less than 2 days. The trailer opens with a voice-over, given by the veteran filmmaker, Selvaraghavan, which informs the audience that the East Coast Mall in Chennai has been hijacked.

Vijay with a knife tears a sheet and a small portion of his face is revealed in the scene. After a few silhouette frames and shots of the attackers and hostages, Vijay’s character “Veeraraghavan” is introduced as ‘one of the best and most notorious spies’, and his full face is revealed as he walks with a hammer in hand.
