Texas legislators recognize Sikh Genocide 1984

The resolution is the first to mention the UN Convention on genocide section 2 and recognising 1984 Sikh carnage as genocide.

The texas State Assembly Representative Terry Meza issued a resolution recognising the 1984 Sikh Genocide –  a series of organized violent riots happened against Sikhs in India.

The resolution is supported by the State Representative and Congresswoman elect Jasmine Crockett.
