Texas legislators recognize Sikh Genocide 1984

The resolution is the first to mention the UN Convention on genocide section 2 and recognising 1984 Sikh carnage as genocide.

"Supreme Court has released all convicts imprisoned for murder of late PM Rajiv Gandhi. Gandhi committed the genocide of Sikhs in 1984. This is a good decision of the Apex Court. The texas State Assembly Representative Terry Meza issued a resolution recognising the 1984 Sikh Genocide –  a series of organized violent riots happened against Sikhs in India.

The resolution is supported by the State Representative and Congresswoman elect Jasmine Crockett.
