A former employee has sued Mumbai-based Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in the United States for using unfair employment procedures.

Shawn Katz, accused the IT firm of using discriminatory "hiring, staffing, promotion and termination" policies and practices that have a disproportionately negative impact on non-South Asian and non-Indian applicants and employees who are often passed over for jobs, not selected for positions, not promoted, benched and/or terminated.
