Ratan Tata, chairman of the Tata Trust has appointed his younger brother, Noel Tata’s children, Leah (37), Maya (34), and Neville (30) as trustees of Tata Medical Center Trust (TMCT), which oversees a cancer hospital in Kolkata.
As majority of the present trustees for the TMCT, Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, and Sir Ratan Tata Trust—the other two important foundations within the Tata Trusts—are above 60, the new appointees symbolize the entry of the next generation into the century-old Tata system.
