Low H-1B visa limit impacts employers finds study

The findings are of importance as H-1B visa holders contribute a significant portion to the American economy.

A study by the National Foundation for American Policy (NFAP) has revealed that the low annual limit for US H-1B work visa petitions adversely effects employers trying to recruit foreign talent.

The findings of the study, titled 'H-1B Petitions And Denial Rates In FY 2022' states that the 85,000 new H-1B petitions allowed each year for companies represent only 0.05 percent of 165 million people in the U.S. labor force.
