Singapore firms to partner India's NIIF to build data centres

The network of data centres will be mostly powered from renewable energy sources.

Singapore-based AGP DC InvestCo Pte Ltd ("AGP") and Digital Edge (Singapore) Holdings Pte Ltd ("Digital Edge") have partnered with India's National Investment and Infrastructure Fund ("NIIF") to establish a pan-India network of hyper-scale data centres.

The first project under the partnership will be a US$2 billion investment to construct one of India's largest data centres in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The 300 MW facility will be built using Digital Edge's state-of-the-art architectural architecture to achieve industry-leading PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) and WUE (Water Usage Effectiveness).
