Punjab native among four killed in Canada bus crash

A visa holder, Sodhi is survived by his wife and two children in India.

Karanjot Singh Sodhi, a Amritsar native, was one of four people killed as a result of the bus they was traveling in overturning on a slick roadway in Canada on Christmas Eve, local media reported.

A publisher of a Punjabi daily in Surrey said that , Sodhi, 41 hailed from Butala in Amritsar, Punjab and had recently moved to the country to work as a chef in a restaurant of an Okanagan winery.
