Shapoorji Pallonji to build US$797 million Saudi amusement park

The Shapoorji Pallonji is credited for building some of the most iconic architectural projects including the ceremonial palace for the Sultan of Oman and the Tower Wing of the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai.

India's leading conglomerate, Shapoorji Pallonji will build the first of 21 amusement parks planned by Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN), in Saudi Arabia. The 90,000 square-meter project, situated in Riyadh's Al Hamra neighborhood, will cost US$797 million.

According to the official announcement, the park is expected to attract 6 million visitors per year by providing entertainment attractions including indoor surfing, indoor skydiving, climbing, karting and bowling among others.
