Sewa International, a Hindu-faith-based non-profit organisation, has donated US$10,000 for flood relief efforts in Pakistan and launched a fundraising campaign to help the victims, with the aim of supplying food and other necessities to 5,000 households for at least a month.

According to media estimates, since mid-June, the torrential rains have caused severe floods in the Pakistani provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan, and Southern Sindh, affecting over 33 million people and killing close to 1,100 people, including 348 children.
