Senator Ossoff visits Mumbai's iconic Ganesh Temple and Mosque during India visit

Ossoff met with community members in Dharavi, one of the most densely populated areas in the world, and took part in the Ganesh Chaturthi festivities.

U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff on day two of his eight-day visit to India met with community members and religious leaders in Mumbai.

On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi (a Hindu festival celebrated widely in Maharashtra), the Senator visited the famous Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple to make an offering. He also paid a visit to the renowned Jama Masjid, where he discussed with the head Mufti Mohammed Ashfaq Kazi the ideas of respect and love as well as the significance of the mosque to the neighbourhood.
