India at SCO Summit 2022 in Uzbekistan

The 22nd regional summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) commenced in Samarkand, Uzbekistan today. This is the first in-person summit of the bloc in two years.

SCO summit 2022 being attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinpindg and other leaders.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit, 2022 meeting took place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan today. As part of the meeting, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders had started to begin gathering to Samarkand on Thursday evening.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed by Uzbek president Shavkat Mirziyoyev as the former arrived at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO ) summit venue.
