Gujarati film Chhello Show or Last Film Show, directed by Pan Nalin has been shortlisted for the 95th Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars in the Best International Film category, creating history as the first Indian fim to be nominated in over 20 years.
Blockbuster Indian action film RRR also scored a nomination as its upbeat song Naatu Naatu, featuring actors Jr. NTR and Ram Charan Teja, was shortlisted for Best Original Song.
