Indian-origin Rishi Sunak won the race to be the leader of the Conservative Party, on Sunday, and was elected by the party  to replace Liz Truss as the United Kingdom’s next Prime Minister.

The former Treasury chief will create history as the country’s first British-Indian, Hindu Prime Minister while also being the youngest ever individual to hold the top office in over 200 years.

Narayana Murthy, 76, co-founded tech giant Infosys in 1981. The outsourcing behemoth now worth around US$75 billion helped drive India's transformation into the "back office of the world".
