Resolution introduced in Ohio to declare October as Hindu heritage month

If passed, Ohio would be the third state in the US to codify this recognition.

The first Hindu and Indian American State Senator in Ohio, Niraj Antani, introduced a resolution in the Ohio Senate seeking to designate October as "Hindu Heritage Month" in order to recognise the contributions of the community to the state.

If passed, Ohio would only be the third state in America to codify this recognition.
