New Jersey-based digital solutions provider, RCG Global Services, announced the appointment of Ramesh Ramani as the chief executive officer of the company on May 4, 2023. According to an official statement, Ramani will replace longtime CEO Rob Simplot, and also join the RCG Board.
Having spent 17 years at Cognizant, Ramani has over 30 years of experience in managing and growing professional services businesses in operations, consulting, and technology. According to RCG, Ramani's expertise in the IT and BPO industries, especially in financial services, strategic thinking, and a collaborative approach, will be instrumental in helping clients navigate multiple business and technology shifts.
At Cognizant, Ramani served as senior vice president and digital operations leader, during which he led business operations across several areas, including P&L management, business development, influencer relations and others.

Having served as CEO since 1999, Simplot said it was the right time for a change in leadership. Lauding Ramani's expertise he added, "Ramesh is taking over a winning organization with a strong customer base and a talented, dedicated workforce. I have the utmost confidence in Ramesh and look forward to supporting him as he assumes this new role."
Simplot will continue to serve on the board. Under Simplot's leadership, RCG's data and analytics business consulting capability saw significant advancement, alongside revenue growth in digital experience development and support outsourcing, the release stated.
