Indian-origin Conservative politician, Rishi Sunak, becoming the first non-white Prime Minister of the country has been the hottest news of the day, and so have the racist jibes and the defensive comments coming to them.

One of them, going all over the internet right now, is British TV host Trevor Noah’s hilarious remarks on ‘The Daily Show.’

Noah, on Wednesday, played a clip from a British radio show in which a caller explains why a non-white person becoming PM of UK is “not a good thing.”

“Can you imagine me becoming Prime Minister of Pakistan? People of England would like to see someone who looks like them,” the caller raged.

In a brilliantly hilarious swipe, Noah replied, “This is a good point. Can you imagine white English people trying to rule countries where no one looks like them?!"

Responding to the caller’s further dismissals of Sunak as the new PM, Trevor said, “This could be a good thing for you people. After 400 years, you finally get to legitimately blame a brown person for your country's problems. You're living the dream!"

Noah also pointed at Sunak’s good looks. “Let's not forget another important first (besides the first person-of-colour PM). He is also the first prime minister who is an absolute snack,” he winked.

Rishi Sunak scripted history by becoming the first person of colour to become the Prime Minister of Britain on Wednesday. Viewed in contrast with Britain’s checkered past where it had colonised most of the world, some media publications called Sunak’s victory a "new dawn" for the country.
