ਪਦਮ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਕਾਰੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਸਨਮਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਤਿੰਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ: ਪਦਮ ਵਿਭੂਸ਼ਣ (ਬੇਮਿਸਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ), ਪਦਮ ਭੂਸ਼ਣ (ਉੱਚ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਦੀ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ), ਅਤੇ ਪਦਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ (ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ) ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
