ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ 'ਤੇ ਇਸ ਮੁੱਦੇ 'ਤੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਜੌਹਨਸਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਹਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ 'ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਆਗੂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਦੇ।
