Samsung India has launched its CSR (Corporate Social Programme) program "Samsung Innovation Campus" at eight campuses throughout the country, to upskill 3,000 underprivileged youth in future tech areas like AI, IoT, Big Data, and Coding & Programming and assist them in getting job placements.
The initiative is being carried out by ESSCI, an organisation that has received approval from the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), through its network of authorised training and educational partners located all over the country. In September 2022, Samsung India and ESSCI signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
