Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with Satya Nadella, chairman and CEO of the Microsoft Corporation on Jan. 5, 2023, during which the latter expressed his appreciation on the tech-growth in the country and extended full support to further enabling its digital vision.
The Indian-origin executive praised the Indian government’s move to focus on sustainable and inclusive economic growth in the country led by digital transformation. President of Microsoft India, Anant Maheshwari was also present during the discussions.
After the conclusion of the meeting Nadella tweeted, "Thank you PM Narendra Modi for an insightful meeting. It’s inspiring to see the government’s deep focus on sustainable and inclusive economic growth led by digital transformation and we’re looking forward to helping India realize the Digital India vision and be a light for the world."
