On the birth anniversary of the former deputy Prime Minister of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S.Jaishankar paid tribute to him by participating in the celebration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.
The birth anniversary of the great leader, who contributed immensely in the political integration of India, is observed annually as National Unity Day (Ekta Diwas) in the country.
