Parsippany Rotary collaborated with community leaders and conducted the Parsippany Rotary International Annual Winter Coat Program on February 26, 2023.
The Winter Coats donation resulted in the accumulation of 1,000 new children's blankets and 100 winter coats for the homeless and five different organizations of Morris County: Table of Hope, Hope1, Jersey Battered Women’s Service, Saint Ann’s Church and Saint Peters Church.
The event was supported by individuals and organizations such as the Gandhian Society, TFASNJ, NRIVA, Vasavi Society and OM Sri Sai Balaji Temple. The attendees included Parsippany Mayor James Barberio, Council President Loretta Gragnani, VP Michael dePierro, Councilmen Paul Carifi and Frank Neglia.
Parsippany Rotary extended gratitude to those who supported and donated to the Winter Coat Program. "Rotary International of Parsippany members look for opportunities to improve our communities today and invest in the next generation for tomorrow," the press statement said.
