Park named after The Bhagavad Gita in Canada’s Brampton

Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal lauded the initiative and said the park will become symbolic in further spreading the eternal message of the Bhagavad Gita.

The Brampton Municipal Corporation, on Wednesday, renamed the city's Troyers Park to Shri Bhagavad Gita Park in a ceremony attended by Patrick Brown, Mayor of Brampton and the Indo-Canadian community.

According to a news release, the park spread over 3.75-acres will be landscaped beautifully and feature some sculptures depicting scenes and deities from the Gita such as Lord Krishna and Arjuna, on a Chariot (Rath).
