The USA Global Cricket Academy has announced an expanded effort to support coach education and training, as cricket organizations across the United States seek to meet growing demand for qualified coaches and structured youth development programs.
Through ACF Coaches, a cricket coaching education program centered on high-performance training and grassroots growth, the New Jersey-based foundation announced that it will offer financial support and tools to coaches pursuing advanced Level 3 and Level 4 certifications.
The project, according to academy officials, aims to bolster the pool of local coaches who can assist school, university and youth cricket programs as the sport's popularity grows across the country.
"Recent growth in participation and institutional interest from schools and colleges has increased demand for well-qualified local coaches," the academy said in a statement announcing the program.

Founded more than two decades ago, the USA Global Cricket Academy is one of the country's longest-running youth cricket development organizations. The academy operates age-group programs at the U-15, U-19 and U-23 levels and has organized international tours for young players to cricket-playing nations, including India, Sri Lanka and the West Indies.
A number of former participants have gone on to represent the United States in international competitions, including youth World Cup events, according to the organization. The academy gained international recognition when it won the International Cricket Council's Global Award for Best Junior Development Initiative in 2003.
The academy's founder and president, Ashok P. Patel, stated that in addition to player training, the institution is increasingly concentrating on coach development. He pointed out that building a network of professionally trained coaches is essential to sustaining the sport's long-term growth in the U.S.
The advanced certification program is being delivered through ACF Coaches, a coaching education platform led by Jatin Patel. Sports analytics, video analysis, athlete performance evaluation, mindset and mental conditioning, and new digital coaching tools are all covered in the program.
According to Patel, the program is intended to give coaches a path for ongoing professional development while assisting them in adjusting to the shifting needs of modern cricket.
Organizers claim that ACF coaching initiatives and development support have benefited more than 60 cricket academies and youth programs nationwide. The American Cricket Education Council has also approved the certification program.
The announcement comes as American cricket organizations prepare for the sport's first Olympic appearance since 1900, which will take place in Los Angeles in 2028. Cricket's inclusion in the Games has sparked renewed interest in player development, coaching infrastructure and grassroots participation nationwide.
According to academy officials, increasing access to advanced coach education will strengthen young players' development pathways and enhance the quality and consistency of coaching offered by regional cricket programs.
The organization said it plans to continue investing in both player and coach development as part of its broader effort to support the growth of competitive cricket across the United States.
