Indian American lawyer Sheela Murthy, President and Founder of the Murthy Law Firm, has found herself in the middle of a right-wing uproar against her attack on President Donald Trump's immigration policy at an ITserve event in Seattle.
Talking against Trump's immigration policies, Murthy made several disparaging comments against the President.
"Kick the butt of Donald Trump. Kick his ass, really. Let's face it, kick him twice," Murthy said, drawing applause from the attendees of the event.
In a series of personal attacks, Murthy also questioned the stark contrast between Trump's immigration policies and his personal choices and noted that "two out of his three wives were immigrants."
She further joked, "Immigrants do all the hard work that no other person wants to do. That's what they talk about the poor wives who got married to him, that no other American would want to be with him"
During her address, Murthy also questioned the President's authority to make laws and said, "The president is not God. The president is not making the laws in this country, though he thinks he can make laws."
