The promo for 'Christmas Karma,' the newest film from director Gurinder Chadha, debuted on the Times Square screens with a high-visibility launch designed to drive early audience engagement.

The reveal was amplified by a live performance from Masala Bhangra Group Fitness, supported by a dhol player, creating a targeted cultural moment in the center of New York City.

Featuring Kunal Nayyar, Eva Longoria, Billy Porter, Boy George, and a supporting cast including Danny Dyer, Leo Suter, Pixie Lott, Charithra Chandran, and Hugh Bonneville, the film positions itself as a large-scale holiday musical for broad audiences.

Its soundtrack includes contributions from Malkit Singh, Jassi Sidhu, Panjabi MC, Nitin Sawhney, Gary Barlow, Shaznay Lewis, and Ben Cullum, blending gospel, bhangra, carols, rap, and pop. The cast and crew also marked the release with a red-carpet premiere in London, reinforcing the film’s global rollout strategy.

Directed through Chadha’s established lens, 'Christmas Karma' reimagines Charles Dickens’ 'A Christmas Carol' as a contemporary, multicultural musical set in present-day London. The film explores themes of identity, prejudice, reconciliation, and belonging while maintaining the emotional core of Dickens’ original work.
