US President Donald J. Trump on Nov. 28 declared that any document or executive order signed by his predecessor Joe Biden through the use of an autopen was “hereby terminated,” asserting that such actions were “of no further force or effect.”
In a statement issued on social media, Trump said, “Any document signed by Sleepy Joe Biden with the Autopen, which was approximately 92% of them, is hereby terminated, and of no further force or effect.” He added, “The Autopen is not allowed to be used if approval is not specifically given by the President of the United States.”
Trump alleged that Biden was surrounded by “Radical Left Lunatics” who “took the Presidency away from him.” He said those individuals “circling Biden around the beautiful Resolute Desk in the Oval Office” had operated the autopen without authorization.

The President said, “I am hereby cancelling all Executive Orders, and anything else that was not directly signed by Crooked Joe Biden, because the people who operated the Autopen did so illegally.” He stated that Biden “was not involved in the Autopen process and, if he says he was, he will be brought up on charges of perjury.”
In his remarks, Trump reiterated that “any document” signed using the autopen lacked validity. “Any document signed by Sleepy Joe Biden with the Autopen, which was approximately 92% of them, is hereby terminated,” he said, repeating that such documents held “no further force or effect.”
He insisted that the autopen should not have been used without explicit approval from the sitting President. “The Autopen is not allowed to be used if approval is not specifically given by the President of the United States,” he said.
Trump charged that Biden was sidelined in the process. “Joe Biden was not involved in the Autopen process,” he said. He added that if Biden “says he was, he will be brought up on charges of perjury.”
The remarks represented one of Trump’s strongest assertions regarding the use of automated signature devices, which he said were deployed without lawful authority. He said the individuals “circling Biden around the beautiful Resolute Desk in the Oval Office took the Presidency away from him.”
His message contained no reference to any specific executive order or administrative action by number or subject matter. It focused solely on the assertion that documents signed by mechanical means lacked validity because they were not “directly signed by Crooked Joe Biden.”
