Times Square becomes Times “I do” as Indian man goes full bollywood

Parth Maniar planned an elaborate and iconic Bollywood-style proposal to pop the question to his partner, Shreya Singh, in the middle of Times Square, New York.

Videos of this grand gesture have gone viral, with everyone celebrating the proposal and congratulating the couple.

With the help of friends and family, Maniar organised the proposal to the last detail, with the bride to be arriving at the venue in a red blindfold, escorted by her friends and ready to be surprised.

Maniar and his squad then put on high-energy dance performances to some of Bollywood’s legendary songs, ranging from classics to modern romantic, including ‘Pretty Woman,’ ‘You Are My Soniya,’ ‘Woh Ladki Jo Sabse Alag Hai,’ and ‘Koi Mil Gaya,’ among others.

As the dance concluded, Maniar got down on one knee and pulled out the ring, marking their proposal story to have a true Bollywood-style end.

With catchy hook steps and dance moves matching every beat and the perfectly timed ring reveal, Singh was seen with tears of joy and the purest of smiles.

The surrounding crowd, meanwhile, witnessed the beautiful display and served as an ideal audience as their cheers and claps made the moment more wholesome.

The video, posted on Instagram, captured over 3 lakh views, followed by a flood of congratulatory and appreciative comments.

While the couple definitely have a great story to tell for ages, it appears that they were able to spread much of their joy with many others, thanks to the internet.
