IAMBIG to host cryptocurrency seminar in Virginia

The event will bring together crypto founders, industry executives and a former U.S. regulator for discussions on digital assets and blockchain.

The Indian American Business Impact Group (IAMBIG) will host a cryptocurrency-focused networking and educational event on June 17 in Tysons Corner, Virginia.

The event, titled "Cryptocurrency 101," will feature industry experts, fintech executives, blockchain professionals and a former federal regulator discussing digital assets, blockchain technology, artificial intelligence and regulation.

According to the event agenda, Rushi Manche, founder and investor at Nyx Group, will discuss cryptocurrency innovation and digital assets. Sarina Siddhanti, head of growth and business operations at Uniswap, is expected to speak on fintech, business strategy and digital assets. 



Vihaan Jaiswal, a blockchain engineer at MoonPay, will address developments at the intersection of artificial intelligence, crypto infrastructure and autonomous payments.

 Rajesh Virassamy, a former official at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC),  will provide a regulatory perspective on the evolving cryptocurrency market.

Founded in 2023, IAMBIG describes itself as a nonprofit organization that connects Indian American entrepreneurs, executives and professionals through networking, business development and educational programs. 

The group has previously hosted events focused on entrepreneurship, government contracting and business growth opportunities.

The June 17 program will begin with a networking session from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., followed by presentations from the featured speakers and a panel discussion with audience questions.
