The Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI )Victory Power Fund hosted an AANHPI Women's Celebration recently, at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. The event highlighted the exceptional achievements of AANHPI women who have made significant contributions in fields such as public service, activism, and the arts.
Prominent Indian Americans Rep.Pramila Jayapal and Neera Tanden addressed the event along with other prominent women from the community. Rep. Jayapal has been instrumental in uplifting AANHPI communities and leading the way in championing progressives in Congress, according to a release. On her participation at the event, Jayapal said, “Being surrounded by so many powerful and inspiring AANHPI women is such a privilege.”
