The CFO leadership council (CFOLC), a professional association whose goal is to enable senior financial executives to achieve success, announced Aradhana Sarin, chief financial officer (CFO) of pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca, as the keynote speaker for their upcoming annual conference, from June 6–8,2023.

Sarin began her career as a medical doctor in India and Africa before becoming the CFO of the US$200 billion global pharmaceutical company. She will be speaking in a session titled: "How a World-Class CFO Drives Growth in a Complex Environment."

According to a news release, her journey has motivated many CFOs to gain a deeper comprehension of what it means to be the CFO of a large corporation, the role of finance executives in creating corporate strategic plans, how to contribute to both organic and M&A growth goals, and how to deal with the challenge of navigating through a highly regulated environment.

To highlight the value of smart financial leadership, senior financial decision-makers have gathered at Boston every year for the event that features some of the most game-changing, influential CFOs in the world. During the event they share their hard-won wisdom and insights in exclusive panels and fireside chats, which helps attendees advance their careers and businesses.

This year around 300+ top financial professionals from various industries are expected to attend this event in person, the release noted.
