The University of British Columbia (UBC) announced that Dr Nemy Banthia, a civil engineering professor and renowned global expert in structural materials, has been awarded the University's highest academic honour, the University Killam Professorship for his exceptional contributions as a teacher, researcher, and international leader in his field.
