Indian-origin professor of Molecular, Cell, and Developmental (MCD) biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) was awarded the 2022 American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) Prize for Excellence in Inclusivity.
A resident of New York, Needhi Bhalla received the award and a cash reward of US$5000 at the Cell Bio 2022 meeting in Washington, DC, on Dec.3, 2022.
