Mulayam’s ashes to be submerged in Haridwar today

A ‘havan’ will also be performed in Saifai for him on October 21, party members said.

The mortal remains of late Samajwadi Party (SP) leader, Mulayam Singh Yadav, will be immersed in the Ganges in Haridwar on Monday. The Chaudhary Charan Singh VIP Ghat will be used by the Yadav family.

SP national president Akhilesh Yadav and other family members will reach Haridwar by a special plane. Senior party members said that Akhilesh and his uncle, Shivpal Yadav, have collected the ashes from the ‘Samadhi Sthal’ in Saifai.
