MOU to promote medical value travel

By the MoU, the Ministry of Ayush would educate ITDC staff members about the importance of medical travel to places where Ayurveda and other traditional practices are followed.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Ayush and the Government of India's Ministry of Tourism and India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) has been signed  to promote medical value travel in India.

Under the MoU, the Ministry of Ayush would educate ITDC staff members about the importance of travel to locations where Ayurveda and other traditional medicinal practices are followed. In addition to regularly providing ITDC with all the technical know-how, it will identify tourist routes where there is a significant opportunity to promote medical value travel.
