Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said on Dec.02 2022 during a campaign trip to Gujarat that Canadian thug Satvinder Singh, nicknamed Goldy Brar, the suspect who masterminded the murder of rapper Sidhu Moose Wala on May 29 was apprehended in California a week ago and has been in US police custody eversince.
“This is confirmed news, and I say this being the head of the state government. US police are in touch with the Indian government and Punjab regarding his deportation. As we are a signatory to an extradition treaty with the US, he will soon be in the custody of our police," Mann told reporters. Through the Union home ministry, Punjab Police was able to obtain a red-corner notice issued against the gangster.
