Mexico seeks India’s help in developing remote sensing satellites

The Indian Space Agency’s expertise in the development of remote sensing satellites could enable Mexico to have one in the future

Salvador Landeros Ayala, the director general of Mexican Space Agency (AEM) has sought India’s support in developing and launching a remote sensing satellite for Mexico. The appeal was made during a virtual meeting between him and A. Somanath, chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

Pankaj Sharma, Indian Ambassador to Mexico and Gustavo A. Cabrera Rodriguez, Mexican Ambassador for the Latin American and Caribbean Space Agency (ALCE) also took part in the virtual meeting.
