Lt General Anil Chauhan (retired) took over as the new Chief of the Defence Staff at the defence head quarter in New Delhi on Friday Sept, 30,2022 morning. He inspected guard of honour at the lawn of  defence HQ  before being escorted by Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal V.R. Chaudhari, Chief of the Army Staff General Manoj Pande and Vice Chief of the Naval Staff Vice Admiral S.N. Ghormade .
