King Charles and President Droupadi Murmu meet ahead of the Queen's state burial

On September 19 in the afternoon, President Murmu attended the reception hosted by James Cleverly, the UK's Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs.

President Droupadi Murmu met with King Charles III at a banquet held at Buckingham Palace on September 18 in advance of Queen Elizabeth's State funeral.

The President paid her respects at Westminster Hall in London, where the Queen's coffin is laid at rest. President Murmu added her name to Queen Elizabeth II's condolence book at the Lancaster House, which is located close to Buckingham Palace in London.
