Iselin’s Shirdi Sai Mandir celebrates 15th anniversary

The temple was established by the Nori Foundation in 2008, and renovated five years ago.

The Shirdi Sai Cultural and Community Center in Iselin, New Jersey celebrated its 15th anniversary on March 1st, 2023 in the presence of 200 devotees and volunteers.

To mark the occasion, special pujas and prayers were offered by the founder, Dr Dattatreyudu Nori, an internationally renowned oncologist. He addressed the community members and devotees after the prayers and highlighted the important teachings of Sai Baba.

Established by the Nori Foundation in 2008, the Shirdi Sai Cultural Community Center also houses shrines for all the Hindu deities including Ganesh, Shiva, Balaji, Hanuman, Murugan, Datta Parampara, Ram Parivar and Navagraha.

The temple was renovated to include modern facilities five years ago. Apart from religious events the temple also organizes community service activities like Bal Vikas, Health education seminars, Red Cross sponsored blood donation drives and free yoga meditation classes for devotees.
