The Indo-American Arts Council recently honoured social entrepreneur and founder of the Jha Group, Satish Jha, during its annual Gala at the Union League.
Recognised as a corporate stalwart, the Indian American started his career by founding the Jansatta newspaper, for Indian Express. Under his leadership the paper achieved a record daily circulation of 100,000 copies in 180 days, recording a 300 percent growth in business in the first year.
