Leading low cost Indian airline, IndiGo announced the launch of new daily direct flights between Mumbai and Ras Al Khaimah, a city in the UAE, starting Sept. 22, 2022. The inaugural aircraft from Mumbai was given a grand welcome with a ceremonial water cannon salute at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
Pieter Elbers, CEO, IndiGo who travelled in the inaugural flight to Ras Al Khaimah said, “We are very pleased to commence this first direct connection between Mumbai and Ras Al-Khaimah. For IndiGo, this is 100thdestination in 6E network and our fourth Emirate.”
