India’spopup.com, a global platform for luxury Indian designer clothing and fashion celebrated International Women’s Day with a 3-tier celebration including a charitable initiative. The company founded by Archana Yenna honored South Asian women from various walks of life who are leading the path for future generations. A gala dinner was organised as part of the celebrations.

The company felicitated 5 South Asian female role models that have been instrumental to the diaspora with their works in non-profit, societal causes and community building.
Nina Davuluri-acclaimed film-maker, activist, actor and entrepreneur, Megha Desai-President, of the Desai foundation, Shobha Narayan-actor film, television and theatre, Hitha Palepu-entrepreneur and author and Cynthia Victor-beauty influencer were among the notable honorees.
Yenna honored these women for breaking stereotypes and spreading positivity. Through her work, she hopes to help women feel beautiful, confident and feminine and progress towards positive change.
A High-Tea-themed photoshoot was organised to celebrate the honorees. The women wore avant-garde designer clothing. They championed one another and sisterhood and shared what womanhood meant to them.
The company announced its partnership with Sakhi for South Asian women, an NGO that represents the South Asian diaspora in a movement for gender justice, Sakhi envisages a future free of violence. Yenna pledged a portion of March sales to the organisation.
