India's forex reserves register steepest weekly decline in over 11 months

The drop in forex reserves comes after they increased consecutively for three weeks last month.

India's foreign exchange reserves declined by US$8.31 billion to US$566.94 billion for the week ending February 10 registering a fall of 8.3 percent , the biggest loss in more than 11 months, according to data issued by the Reserve Bank of India.

According to the previous week's data, India's foreign exchange reserves decreased by US$1.49 billion to US$575.27 billion as on February 3, breaking a three-week upward trend.
